SMALL THERAPY GROUPS · INTEREST LIST OPEN
Practice new skills with people who understand.
A small group can offer a place to talk honestly, learn from others, and practice changes together.
I am gathering interest in adult therapy groups. Groups will be scheduled when there are enough suitable participants; no start dates or places are guaranteed yet.
Ask about a therapy groupADULT ADHD SKILLS
Make everyday tasks more manageable.
Explore planning, starting tasks, follow-through, emotional regulation, and self-criticism. We would practice realistic supports and discuss what helps between meetings. Adults of all genders are welcome.
MEN’S EMOTIONAL REGULATION
Understand reactions. Practice different responses.
A proposed skills-focused therapy group for men who want to respond differently to anger, urges, impulsive choices, or relationship conflict. We would practice noticing early warning signs, pausing before acting, setting realistic boundaries, and communicating needs. Each meeting would include discussion, skills practice, and a manageable step to try during the week.
This group focuses on emotional regulation and behavior change. It is not a childhood sexual abuse processing group or a substitute for specialized addiction treatment. A trauma history is not required or assumed, and you would not be expected to share detailed traumatic experiences. You can raise sensitive questions privately during screening.
Individual care remains available to adults of all genders.
FORMAT & FEE
$60 per participant, per 60-minute session.
The proposed format is a small weekly group, with a target of four to six adults. Online participation requires you to be physically in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania during each session. Dates, duration of the group series, and final arrangements will be confirmed before enrollment.
This is the proposed self-pay fee. Insurance coverage is not assumed; any applicable coverage or billing requirements will be clarified before payment. Joining the interest list is free and creates no payment obligation.
FINDING THE RIGHT FIT
We talk before you join.
How does enrollment work?
First, contact me with your group preference, state, availability, and preferred contact method. We arrange an individual screening conversation to discuss suitability and support needs. If a group fits, we review its schedule, fees, attendance expectations, and informed-consent details before enrollment.
How is privacy handled?
Group members agree to protect one another’s privacy, and we review expectations before starting. I cannot guarantee what other participants do outside the group. For virtual meetings, participants need a private space and must not record sessions.
Does a group replace individual therapy?
That depends on your needs. We discuss whether group therapy is appropriate on its own or alongside individual care. A group may not provide the level or type of support you need; the screening conversation helps us consider other options when necessary.
